Our contributionFood security remains a pressing need in Calgary. Data shows that our guests face moderate to severe food insecurity so they skip meals or go an entire full day without a meal.
Feed the Hungry has been in existence in the City of Calgary for over 25 years. It is a non-denominational service in the community that addresses one of the key needs of Calgarians experiencing poverty and marginalization — a healthy, high-quality meal in a friendly atmosphere of safety, respect and family. After the pandemic, Feed the Hungry was able to resume weekly sit-down Sunday meal, thanks to the genority of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers. |
