Emergency Relief for Venezuela

On June 24, 2026, Venezuela was struck by two powerful earthquakes (magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5), the strongest since 1900, causing widespread destruction, particularly in La Guaira and Caracas. Hundreds of people have been killed and thousands injured, with many still missing, worsening an already severe humanitarian crisis. Caritas Venezuela is leading emergency relief efforts by providing essential aid and coordinating support for affected communities.

Following the devastating earthquake in Venezuela, parishioners are invited to support emergency relief efforts through Development and Peace – Caritas Canada. Please consider making a donation.
